does the lighting work in this ?

The lighting is much too harsh on the upper shell. It distracts from the rest. If you want to see other pictures of snails, Geraldine Allen used to have one in one of her folders; I also have a couple in my "wildlife" folder. Keep up shooting snails, they're a lot of fun.
