dyowell 0 Posted February 10, 2006 I really like your subject. It captures a time and a lifestyle that is just plain gone! I can smell the oiled floor, the potbelly stove, the cheese and crackers, and the kerosene! This could go from rather so-so in appeal to a really great shot with some early morning or late evening light, with some deeper fall colors, or with a more dramatic sky. (Yeah, I know...you had to shoot it when you were there, right? I do that all the time and then wish I could go back under better conditions.) Just don't stop shooting this kind of image. daschmann 0 Posted February 10, 2006 Yeah - we were on a x-country trip. Should we take that route again though, I will time it better! Thanks! Deb Link to comment
mike_smith39 0 Posted February 10, 2006 could you have moved closer? I think the picture could have been better. Link to comment
daschmann 0 Posted February 10, 2006 Honestly, no. My husband & I have an agreement that as we travel, I shoot away - but stopping is limited. Most of my "places" are taking on the move - in the car or on the motorcycle (when he's driving!). Link to comment
daschmann 0 Posted February 15, 2006 After thinking about it - I cropped the picture tighter. Thanks for the thought! (Bluegrass Ballad 2) Link to comment
