Sunset, Fog, Pt Reyes

Taken from bluffs at Pt. Reyes just before a foggy sunset. Is this

photo too minimalist? Thanks for your comments and ratings. - Tad

No, it's not too minimalist. If anything, it's not minimalist enough. If you cropped the image into the water on the lower edge, the eye would not be drawn so much to that edge, and away from that wonderful ethereal feeling in the center. This image does not really need the "anchor" of land to provide stability. It works just fine with just the water, the fog, and that exquisite light!

I agree with Loren. You don't need the foam, it's a little distracting.

My only other criticism is that the horizon is not level. Something that I've had problems with.
