lgreene 0 Posted December 12, 2005 Lovely hint of light, pastel colors and a non typical but beautiful presentation of canadian geese. Their positions really emphasize the coldness and you have nicely composed it so that one on each side is posed different than the rest. Link to comment
mcgarity 0 Posted December 12, 2005 Thank you Leann. It was a beautiful day. It was cold enough that it would take your breath away, but it was beautiful. The absolute temp was -7 to -13 depending on exactly where in town you were. But the windchill was well below -20 Fahrenheit. Its never fails to amaze that the local wildlife copes as well as they do. Before I forget, I want to wish you a joyous holiday season and all the best in the coming new year. Link to comment

lgreene 0 Posted December 13, 2005 I remember what it is like when it's so cold it hurts to breath in and this conveys that weather.Thank you very much for the Holiday Wishes- same to you and yours. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted December 14, 2005 Around here we refer to that kind of weather as "snot-freezing" weather...kind of crude, but that's what happens when you breathe in! I look at these beautiful birds all huddled up, and I'm so happy to be in here by a warm fire. The colors are great here, and the image certainly conveys the temperature well! Link to comment

mcgarity 0 Posted December 14, 2005 Thank you Kim. You can believe I went looking for a warm fire after I took this too. That and a very hot cup of coffee. Let me take this opportunity to say thank you for all the kind comments you have rendered to my photos this past year. I truly appreciate it. I hope you and your family have a very merry Christmas and a prosperous new year. Link to comment

In either case I wish you and yours peace on earth and all the best this holiday season and in the year to come. Link to comment
