Look for the Silver Lining...

Not sure why I took this shot....a bit of a challenge I guess, silver

being the whitest of all metals, presents a few problems...like the

contrast of the leaves and silver...soft and hard elements.

Roger, I know we do not need justification for what we photographs. However, your comment that you do not know why persuades me to remind you that the fact it is a classic theme, object in an unusual environment, is all the justification needed. It is an image that is very grabbing by its color intensity and excellent handling of a highly reflective object.

I give myself assignments from time to time, often they involve taking a day and use only one lens...this was such an event, glad you liked it...

Nice contrast, color and detail - just not sure of the subject matter, but it does make you stop and think...

Had just washed the dishes and looked at this spoon and the leaves our on the porch....well, here you have the result...

A punch ladel? The base looks Georgian, the handle, later? Nice composition Roger and beautiful colours.
