Fondren by night

This picture reminds me of a painting "night hawks BY EDWARD HOPPER"it has the same feel pity about the focus but I still like it

I do have some pics of this with a longer depth of field where all is in focus, but for some reason I like this one better. It seems like in this version, the eye moves around the box created by the bench, poles and over-head light; whereas with the longer DOF the eye wasn't drawn to anything in particular. Any comments?
