Detlef, what a wonderful and original double portrait. It radiates a warm atmosphere through the combination of the beautyness of your model, her wonderful traditional clothes and the golden light and red tones in it.

I love the subject you've choosen. It shows how people are able to have many faces and to radiate complete other images by changing clothes or put an other mask on. We are able to fool other people or to hide ourselfs for the outside world by putting a mask on. And we can look into the mirror and see somebody and realise that the one we see is not the person we really are.

I wonder if the meaning behind this nice work goes so deeply. But it is what goes through my mind when I look at it.

I really hope you will continue your great work, Detlef. It should be a waste, an enormous sin to let yourself demoralize by the lack of interest of others. It's not only you who have to contend with it I've noticed. People are overinduldged I think by all the pictures (images which one can call barely pictures because of their digital transformations). I think that it would be a good thing to separate the categories of the 'classic photography' and the 'digital alterations' on PN. I think I talk to much:)

At any rate, this is a great picture and it deserves attention and appreciation! Hold your head high dear Detlef and keep up the great work!
