emotive 0 Posted December 10, 2005 Hi Mel. The expressions are terrific. Well captured. Maybe a little crop might be an improvement. What do you think? Link to comment

meli d 0 Posted December 12, 2005 {Thanks to G Pennington for the crop.} Those are some of her paintings. She always wore Yellow and was very optimistic! She swam every day and played the piano, and I met her though my piano teacher, Eva Redick. *I found this online: Kay Ameche (101) artist sometimes likened to Grandma Moses because she began to paint in her 60s, who worked for many years in Hollywood-area hospitals, often caring for entertainment industry celebrities, whose first two paintings sold for $250, and by the early 1990s they were going for $5,000 to $10,000 each, and who sold paintings to such buyers as Ronald Reagan, Nelson Rockefeller, George Burns, Katharine Hepburn, and Elton John, died in Los Angeles on July 26, 2005.
