Same as my last comment but here the details give a little more clue to the specifics (British?) Excellent choice of DOF (though also probably needed to shoot wide open to avoid unnessesary blur)... again, the emotion and tension is just so visible here. 7's

Thank you for your comments. For me I did not have a lot of time to take these images, but I was aware of what I was trying to achieve. Mood, action, drama and a sense of being there!

 

Perhaps I should have put that information on first so that people were aware of what I was trying to achieve?

This is a very interesting series. I am going to think about this for a while. Very interesting how you have presented the images, dark for drama...and to hide their faces...Good work. Very unique. How did you end up here taking photos?

My son is in the army as was I, This was his passing out demonstration to show what the had learned over the 6 months training. So I took advantage.

Cool... I have met some British soldiers and I always thought they were pretty tough....(and always nice.) They have that certain look...

Yes I find the British soldier to be the most professional amongst all the armed forces. (I would though, wouldn't I)To be truthful! The Isrealie Army is by far the most experenced armed forces, The American army the most technical advanced, but the British The Best!
