ericdesnoettes 0 Posted December 10, 2005 Etrange et terrible image. Quelle determination exprime le visage du combattant au premier plan ! Greetings & 6/6 Link to comment
jmoody 0 Posted December 10, 2005 Same as my last comment but here the details give a little more clue to the specifics (British?) Excellent choice of DOF (though also probably needed to shoot wide open to avoid unnessesary blur)... again, the emotion and tension is just so visible here. 7's Link to comment
rob wray 0 Posted December 15, 2005 Thank you for your comments. For me I did not have a lot of time to take these images, but I was aware of what I was trying to achieve. Mood, action, drama and a sense of being there! Perhaps I should have put that information on first so that people were aware of what I was trying to achieve? Link to comment
sarahunderhill 1 Posted February 24, 2006 This is a very interesting series. I am going to think about this for a while. Very interesting how you have presented the images, dark for drama...and to hide their faces...Good work. Very unique. How did you end up here taking photos? Link to comment
rob wray 0 Posted February 24, 2006 My son is in the army as was I, This was his passing out demonstration to show what the had learned over the 6 months training. So I took advantage. Link to comment
sarahunderhill 1 Posted February 24, 2006 Cool... I have met some British soldiers and I always thought they were pretty tough....(and always nice.) They have that certain look... Link to comment
rob wray 0 Posted February 25, 2006 Ahhh! You were testing me :P Yes I find the British soldier to be the most professional amongst all the armed forces. (I would though, wouldn't I)To be truthful! The Isrealie Army is by far the most experenced armed forces, The American army the most technical advanced, but the British The Best! Link to comment
