susan stone 0 Posted December 9, 2005 What a diversity of images today, a beautiful bird and this wonderful graphic image of cogs. Congratulations, well done Roger. Of the two this is my favorite, I really like these "found" objects for subject matter, they always leave alot to the imagination: how did they work, sometimes what were they, how were they made, who used them, who created them. Always a story. Link to comment
jfochoa 0 Posted December 9, 2005 Great image... I really like it! My grandfather had a foundry and a machine shop where he made this type of mills. At this time we are the third generation in the business but we don't make this anymore... because of the "change winds". Best regards! Link to comment

w. roger keagle 0 Posted December 9, 2005 Cubes are so very nice to see...and this one would fit the format well...Thank you all for the kind words...Industrial and rust, my best work is in this subject... Susan, how funny it is, no matter where in the world this country boy is, it is the "junk" that I find interesting...what we no longer need and have walked away from...history I call it... w. roger keagle 0 Posted December 10, 2005 Something about the light in Florida, always there I think, but it was a new experence to us and we loved it! Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted December 10, 2005 Great lighting and textures, Roger. I'd probably be tempted to clone out those bright bits in the upper left section so as to draw your eyes only to the marvelous forms/textures within the composition. My eyes head straight to the brightest parts of a picture! Link to comment
