jvophotography 0 Posted December 9, 2005 Only edit to this file was a monotone hue coloration and a crop. Unedited apart from that. Thoughts and comments are greatlly apppreciated. Link to comment

stevespencer 0 Posted December 9, 2005 Wonderful misty scene. The only critical comment I could offer is that it gives the impression that the horizon is higher on the left than the right - I would align the line of the tall reflection on the left with the border and see if that resolves it. It may be an optical illusion. Other than that, it's beautiful. -s Link to comment
jvophotography 0 Posted December 10, 2005 WOW! So many kind words. Thank you each for stopping in. I've looked at that horizon line quite a bit and I know what you're talking about. I do think it's an optical illusion. Perhaps I'll play with it and see what I can get. Thanks again for the good eyes. Link to comment

wilsontsoi 0 Posted December 25, 2005 Joe, not sure if you've corrected the horizon already or not, but it still looks like it needs a small counter-clockwise rotation. Nevertheless, a very nice, moody image. I particularly like the reflection, fog, and monochromic look in this image. Merry Christmas, Joe! ^_^ Link to comment
richard van hoesel 0 Posted December 27, 2005 Easily my favourite of your last three portaying this scene Joe, and I think the composition works very nicely here. I oscillate between liking the high-contrast treatment and thinking the highlights in the sky look just a bit too harsh, although no doubt it will look more moderate in a print anyway. If not, you might also consider a minimal crop at the top. Link to comment
jvophotography 0 Posted December 30, 2005 Thank you each for stopping in. Richard... I'm a HUGE fan of your seascapes. I Greatly appreciate the thoughts and you taking time to comment on my stuff. Wil, I think it's deceiving. I did spend time making sure the horizon was lined up. perhaps I will revisit that to make certain. Thanks again every one for the time and comments. Link to comment
