lorraine 0 Posted December 13, 2001 How many ghosts inhabit this haunted ship? It saw its share of action in the gold coast ventures. Link to comment
philip_coggan 0 Posted December 13, 2001 Interesting subject - but it seems to be out of focus (or is that just me?), and to have a strange overall blue caste (intentional?). Link to comment
eric braswell 0 Posted December 13, 2001 The blue cast is quite understandable, shooting at the ocean -- looks like early afternoon, too. I'd like this a lot if the light were warmer and you had less DOF. Link to comment
leo 0 Posted December 13, 2001 The atmosphere is so great here , as are the colours . However the picture is flat ( especially the low contrast between the water and boat bottom ) which is a bit distracting . Is it possible that you can reshoot this subject ? Also , this might work nicely with kodak ir film and a red filter . Link to comment
kmwatts 0 Posted December 14, 2001 What part of the Oregon coast is this on? I live in Portland, and venture to the coast for photography and scuba diving all the time....looks like an interesting subject. As far as the picture goes...I like it...the subject is great...but agree with the others on how you can improve it....better lighting....less DOF...etc. Link to comment
marc1 0 Posted December 25, 2001 Great shot Lorraine, its cold blue colours and looks seem to make it look as its been dragged up from the depths, only needs a ghostly figure in the window to finish it off!, nice shot x Link to comment
sabio 0 Posted January 2, 2002 Lorraine, I like the image subject and the position of the elements makes it a very appealing image. I would have liked it to have a very shallow DOF to highlight the boat. Additionally the hue is very distracting. Keep shooting..."film is cheap...a great image is priceless" Link to comment
