manolis1 0 Posted December 7, 2005 Fernando, you are absolutely right about overexposed parts of this photo. Despite I was up every day at 6:00AM I couldn't shoot this particularly scene that time because the ladies were coming after 9:00AM, when the sun was already high creating that high contrast The use of polarizing filter did not help because of the sun position. I couldn't even shoot the whole hut because they had some funny stuff on the left side that created distraction. Anyway, I tried my best to capture as much details of the hut-stuffs and local people sacrificing the text of sand which was pure white(the perfect reflector to increase the contrast and blow out the high lights) and sky.
