Incredible! Outstanding! Being able to see the eyes makes SUCH a difference. Even the colors are superb. I wonder if their eyes are reflective enough to pick up catch-lights....

For those of you who are wondering what this is, I have a close approximation. This is a shellfish, like a conch. They have eyes that protrude on stalks, and good vision. Once they spot their prey, they pounce on it and cut into it with a saw-like device called a radulal. That's about all I remember from my college days (over 30 years ago) when I studied marine biology. Nice photo, too!
