Simply portrait

I always look at the detail in the picture - and whomever applied the eye makeup for this model did a fabulous job. I have to say I like the left side flare of light - almost could be construed as smokiness.

This shot exudes class and the model's upswept chignon, classy makeup only adds to this picture. So many photographers allow the models to use such harsh eye makeup and it completely takes away from the shot - I'm a stickler for this, but harshly applied eye makeup makes or breaks the photo - the defining element at times between class and cheapness.

Excellent picture.

It's a good photo for a make-up advertisement, if the model occupied the hole picture.
