Roger, I can't believe you wrote those beautiful words for me. I'm so happy that this moved you to write so poetically. I'm very flattered. Thank you soooo much!

Hi Spencer! Yes it's a good thing we have the sun to keep us warm. I'm happy you dropped by again. You may want to visit this image for a very tardy answer to a question you asked a few months ago. Sorry it took so long :-)

And a good image brings out a rush of feelings...My Grandfather told me that good art is a "window" that you want to have in your wall, This is my kind of window...

Roger, it sounds like your grandfather was a sensitive man and an art lover. You are lucky to have had such nurturing and wonderful memories of your childhood. My grandmother was an artist of sorts and painted well into her 90s. Perhaps we both inherited the "artsy" gene from them :-)

Dear Ayse, Merci!

I like Roger's thoughts on this! It is a mix of cold and warm, and wonderfully pleasing to gaze on!

I love the warmer tones in the original, I must admit! Down here our winters are so mild, that anything cooler would keep me indoors! Dreamy reflections contrast nicely with the sharp foreground grasses and little bit of snow/ice there - you've got some great diagonals and parallel lines in this shot!

Hi Lee. I enjoyed your visit very much. Nice of you to notice the diagonals, I was really trying to pick up something moody too. As for the cold, it wasn't so cold that day, as you can see the pond wasn't frozen yet.
