One of the BEST bird shot on this site I have seen. Superb job capturing this.

Did you set the camera up and trip it by remote when this guy came to grab the bait? Perfect framing and focus. Striking shot 7/7.

Just brillant! I HAVE to know how you did this; I assume it's a setup? Terrific, unusal angle leads to a really cool composistion and the urban setting adds a bit of surrealism. I would clone out the change in the road in the bottom right corner and think about correcting the viginetting in the other corners, but it might be ok this way too. Other than that, it's just perfect. Great work!

@Jim & Bill: I was lying on the ground for this one (very uncomfortable I tell you ;) ). On my camera the kit-lens 18-70 mm @ 18mm, 1/320 sec, 400 iso. It took a while for the heron to be comfortable with me. This is the result of a week's work.
