david lang 0 Posted December 5, 2005 Simply amazing. I'm going to tell you honestly, I've seen a lot of bird shots, and this is by far my favourite. A week's work well worth it. Could've used a little less vignetting on the top left though. Link to comment
robert semnic 0 Posted December 5, 2005 superb. Didi you placed the bait? Did the bird feel any fear of you? Link to comment
photonic 0 Posted April 14, 2006 This one is really amazing!!! Far better than the most pictures on this site. And miles away from beeing just another glamorous shot with beautiful colours! One of the pics I would be glad to have shot myself... Link to comment
gulfbeach47 0 Posted December 8, 2006 Can you imagine how many of us are gonna be lying in the sand with a dead fish in front of us trying to get something close to this good? LOL!! Wonderful Shot!!!! Link to comment
jasonwilliams 0 Posted December 8, 2006 This shot is awesome, worth the aches and pains :) Nice one Link to comment
jorge_diaz 0 Posted December 9, 2006 Makes me feel sad for the little fellow!I guess if you are going to die of air asphixiation slowly why not speed it up via bird. The contrast of the beauty of the framing and colors with the cruel reality of life for the beasties will probably make it an enduring one in our psyche. It almost looks photoshopped. Is it?Proof positive that photography has not exhausted all possible themes.... joser33usa 0 Posted March 22, 2007 Nice setup! The first thought that popped in my head was the T-Rex chase scene from Jurassic Park ... I have to agree that the vignetting is a bit distracting ... Link to comment
hans.boddeke 0 Posted March 26, 2007 @M Barbu: on his beak are scales from another pour fish. @The others: thanks for your comment :-) Link to comment
nalla 0 Posted January 9, 2008 Simply superb shot! I can see, the heron has still some doubt in his mind, whether to go for it or not.. and leaving an eye on you(or your camera).. ha ha ha.. Link to comment
doctorbabaguy 0 Posted January 10, 2008 One of the most original bird photographs I have ever seen. Bravo! The tilt is brilliant, and of course your tenacity for catching this pov is exemplary. Link to comment
