Interesting abstract. I like the composition. The surface looks a little monotone though. I wonder how it would look in B&W with maybe just a touch more contrast?

Not more contrast. You can see higlits blown in the left. That is because that surface is wet so highly reflective and the sun is too harsh.

 

You have to try this shoot in the morning or afternoon. Put a polarizer to increase saturation...
