Martin, Soft, direct light from a single source (it appears) and a non distracting backgound help make this one successful. The catchlights in both eyes and direct gaze into the camera give the viewer both a lively yet intimate feeling. B&W rocks for people pictures! Best, LM.

These are my favorite kind of portraits..In your face with their face...The eyes hide nothing but leave us wondering...excellent! I would not change a thing.

Yes her expression is amazing...the light is perfect like the framing. I can't say what is the expression; maybe she is sad, or just looking calmly at the photographer...beautyful image!
