darien_hewett 0 Posted November 27, 2005 Critiques needed and welcomed. There are a lot of jpeg artifacts in the smaller picture that are not present in the larger image. In trying to keep this image at an 8 x 10 format I'm wondering if the balance of water versus the sky is "correct"? Also should I have used a deeper DOF so that the foreground would be more in focus or does it look right the way it is? THANKS for any comments or suggestions. Link to comment
elsen 0 Posted November 27, 2005 charmingly shaped sun, fleet of birds, blurred foreground(grass),depth and nice color. Great pic Link to comment
hondo 0 Posted November 27, 2005 Darien Heinsight is always 20/20. But I probably would have shot F8 or even higher. Still a nice shot but would like to see the uncropped version. It may be interesting to see a parallel crop only rather than a rectangular one. Great Colour. Still 6/5 Link to comment
darien_hewett 0 Posted November 27, 2005 Thanks for the comment, I was thinking the same thing about shooting around f8 or higher. I really should have been bracketing using the aperture instead of shutter speed in this instance. I'll post the uncropped version to get more feedback, I'm really trying to learn what works in different situations. Link to comment
