No Ned, my scanner is still not working, so I'm just messing around with my lap top. I liked the results of this one so much that I posted it to see what others think - who knows, perhaps I'm on to something artistic?

Dali meets Freud?

Regards, Nick.

Next thing you know you'll be posting naked vikings riding giant winged lobsters over the great pyramids. The purple great pyramids. And don't forget the flamingo.

Ned, if only I was that tallented - what an image that would be!

Ho Ho

Nick.

P.S. I'm off to Iceland for the week, so I'll see everyone when I get back! Only four and a half hours of daylight at this time of year, so I'll have to work fast if I want any decent results!

A self portrait?... I like the final result, original and funky. I think I've already had dreams on which very similar things appear often. Keep experimenting!

ps: too bad the displayed size is so small!

Thanks Alexandre

I have replaced the original post with a larger sized image - I hope this helps, but it's looking a little "pixelated"!

Here is the original image for comparison.

Fond regards, Nick.

...got to go and pack for my trip!

I hear there's a very good sushi bar in Rekyavek oh heck I can't spell it but who can.

I had a co-worker who was Icelandic and he used to rave about the pickled shark festival, where the villagers would dig up a shark they had buried in the ground six months before, then drink until they could dare to eat the thing.

Hello Nick, judging by your portrait and this image, you have way to much time on your hands.

Your portrait reminds me of some Beatles lyrics, "Man, you been a naughty boy, you let your face grow long".

Time to invest in a new scanner?

Cheers. P

Very interesting! Most photos are obvious - nice landscape, pretty flower, sexy babe - they need no explanation. But when one asks for help with interpretation you are on to something. I don't know how you did it, but it's really neat. Hope you continue, I will be checking back for more.
