atkphotoworks 0 Posted December 4, 2005 Kaushik, this is a wonderfully dark image and not to mention very moody. It has this sense of isolation and desolation which is of course what I think you intended by naming it "Forsaken". It has painting like aesthetic to it. The boat could be very symbolic of many people, or what they are feeling. So close to shore and unable to reach hard ground. Anyway, before I ramble on...this is just great. Cheers and thanks for sharing this vision. Link to comment

morganlashley 0 Posted November 30, 2007 I like this shot...however, the frame really distracts me. I think less would be more with regard to the frame..... Link to comment
iqbal 0 Posted November 30, 2007 Dear Kaushik: I CAN'T FIND WORDS IN HINDI/BENGALI (my language)TO EXPRESS MY FEELINGS ABOUT YOUR PHOTOGRAPHS, BUT HOW CAN I DO IT IN ENGLISH? THEY ARE JUST TO SEE AND ENJOY (esp. the main one). THE MOST HEARTENING THING ABOUT YOUR PORTFOLIO IS THAT THOSE ARE FROM INDIA & COVER A WIDE SPECTRUM OF REALITY THERE. A BROAD PRESENTATION OF THAT PART OF THE WORLD IS USUALLY MISSING IN THIS & OTHER SITES. THEREFORE, YOU DESERVE EXTRA CREDIT. HOWEVER, MANY OF US WOULD LIKE TO KNOW MORE ABOUT YOU (any website?), YOUR MAIN PHOTOGRAPHIC TOOLS AND SOME OF THE TECHNIQUES YOU USE. THIS WILL INSPIRE ME TO PRODUCE AT LEAST ONE PHOTOS THAT MAY COME CLOSE TO YOU. KEEP UP THE EXCELLENT WORK AND KEEP BLESSING US WITH YOUR TALENT. Link to comment
