smhickel 0 Posted November 26, 2005 could possibly walk down. From the bowed head of the lady on the right, the one sole hand, the bride's maids on the port side to the Priest and Groom lined up and the reflections of light and ambiance, this was a very luxurious wedding. Link to comment
john_aceti 0 Posted November 26, 2005 Wow, what a be nice church, because of the distance I would prefer less grain and wish the other photographer was not in the picture. Link to comment
smhickel 0 Posted November 27, 2005 Yes, ad-hoc photos sometimes allow non-essential photographers to sneak into their photos. Of course, the converse is that I am in his photo too. ;-) Photographic justice. Link to comment
mmmee 0 Posted November 30, 2005 ah ha, I have found the one I was viewing for ages a couple of days ago. You have done an excellent job of shooting under these lights. I have to learn how to do this on my analog cameras. Light metering is a mystery to me at the moment. Again the tonal range on these photos in this church are wonderful. That floor almost steals the show from the Bride and groom. I seem to insist on scrolling out the dark parts on the ceiling. I think I would like it cropped down to the lights, and wish that there was no black on the top at all. You probably have a closer shot of them somewhere. This photo is full archetectural interest, as well as the human element. This is a solemn, important moment in their lives, set in a magnificent place to match the grandeur of the occasion. Since you are shooting this, I guess this is not your daughter's wedding. She is a gorgeous lady, and tall. At first viewing of these uploads, without reading anything, I thought perhaps it may have been your daughter's wedding. Link to comment
