This is a great image! The tufts of hay poking out on all sides really makes the shot! Kind regards, m.

Eline saglik, cok güzel cekmissin! Seninle bogaza karsi raki icmeyi ozluyorum. "Haci haciyi Mekke'de, dervis dervisi tekkede, pust pustu bes dakkede bulur!" derler ya. Herkes PN de kendi diliyle yaziyor madem, ben de bundan boyle sana guzel dilimizle, Turkce'mle yazacagim. "Agzimda anamin ak sutu gibidir Türkce!" diyor sair. Baskalari anlamasa ne olur ki, anlayanlar bize yeter!

Muhabbetle kucaklayiyorum,

This is a good shot, but it could be better. I find it claustrophobic with the tight angle on the cart. A slightly wider angle would help.

Also, I find the composition weakened by the partially obscured man. Taking the photo a second or two earlier would have corrected this (and probably hidden the second person who is almost completely obscured by the hay bale and is a distraction as a result).

Finally, the piece(s) of dust (or whatever that might be) just above and around the horse is also distracting.

The bottom line is that I find this picture to be aesthetically pleasing upon a cursory look, but lacking when subjected to a more critical examination.

Agree that it wants a slightly wider crop. Well-seen in any case. Tried this one in b&w with a bit of 'dodge' in the shadows?

I agree with Nick... and fail to understand those people that would rate this with 9's and 10's. Sorry Haluk. Sometimes I think people rate things high just because it is a subject that they don't see in their every day life or maybe because you are so generous with your ratings for others. For showing us a part of the world we don't see I thank you.

Well, to me it isn't that bad at all... And I'm glad I'm not one of the horses !! :-)

I don't really mind the tight cropping, but I think the cart, horses and people on it are recorded a bit too dark. It would have been nice to see a bit more detail.
