I like the composition. There are 3 lines leading me up to the temple. This is good. I am not one for heavy filters so i would consider that a negative but some folks like them. Its just a matter of choice of the photographer. That is the only thing about this shot I don't like. Good shot.

Hi Robert, this is great! It looks so scorching hot, small wonder the person is fleeing the place. I really like the texture and colour. But this is not B&W film, right? Or is it, with red toning? The only thing I'm not sure about, is the sharply rising rock and ending in the top left. The attached crop is just thinking out loud. Cheers,

Chapel, eh? Looks like Hell :-) I like the feeling of motion, as if the camera itself, like the fellow, is running away from this scene. I like Jeroen's crop, as always.

Interesting job colorizing TCN. How did you do it?

Welcome to the Stieglitz circle, Robert. Better late than never!

Nice lines as Jesse has pointed out, no complaints about the colouring either.

Interesting crop from Jeroen (as always) but I think I prefer the original which has more depth and space.

Hope we don't have to wait this long for the next one ;)

Beautiful. Nice composition. Great timing. Light provides good depth. DOF -- might want a little less sharpness in front.

As I have come back to peek at this several times, I enjoy it more then when I first looked at it. At first I was taken aback by the coloring; I remember actually turning my head away from the monitor, as if the orange was too glaring.

But having gotten used to it, I have come to like it quite a bit. A small print of it would be very nice in my living room! The orange color would work there well.

I used to know a Robert Gordon...do the initials FOF mean anything to you?

Toning was done in PS; very difficult to control colors. I've given up with both PS and silver prints. Single images can turn out beautifully, but a series of prints for exhibition or publication are just too much work. So, I've gone back to simple b/w.

No, the initials FOF don't ring a bell and I don't recognize your name.
