Journey Down the Road or River ?

In the photograph the picturesque street of Panaji city, the capital of Goa, at the bank of River Mandovi is shown. Panaji is one of India's smallest and most pleasant state capitals. Built on the south bank of the river Mandovi by the Portuguese, it officially became the capital of Goa in 1843, when old Goa was finally abandoned by them.
