w. roger keagle 0 Posted November 22, 2005 Might want to put this under Nude...I must say that I took more pictures of the "Bean" than anything else in Chicago. It is impressive, and calls for exploring fully... Link to comment
andrew_bridges 0 Posted November 22, 2005 I usually try to keep my comments focused on what's inside the frame, but in this case I find the blue border overwhelming. While it does make the presentation more abstract, it undermines the aesthetic power of the swathes of blue cutting through the frame. Link to comment
w. roger keagle 0 Posted November 23, 2005 I thought the image was brave...and would not rate well, but for some reason, liked the simple effect of minimal image...perhaps the frame does not belong at all, just the picture standing alone ? Link to comment
watermark_of_merni 14 Posted November 25, 2005 I don't mind the frame and I love what's inside it! Link to comment
w. roger keagle 0 Posted November 25, 2005 A bright and cheery note on this cold and snowy day in New England...nice ! Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted November 25, 2005 I'm wondering if a black frame might have worked a bit better? That way, your entire focus would be on the central shapes and lines. Right now, my eyes want to wander to all of the blue and the frame should be minimally noticed, imo. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted November 25, 2005 Much better, imo! Now the frame compliments the center, instead of competing with it. Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted November 25, 2005 Nice shot. I think I am too late for the first frame so just to say I like the rigid verticals on the left and the saggy curves on the right. Its cold here in Old England too but not quite snowing in London. Link to comment
daily_photograph 0 Posted November 26, 2005 I dont get it - no lens defect I suppose, so it is wisely done. Link to comment
w. roger keagle 0 Posted November 26, 2005 RE....clever of you to spot this...I had to go to my software to fix the lens distortion...and did the job very carefully indeed...the lens did distort and the perspective needed correction as well...not as easy as it looks! Link to comment
