.th 0 Posted November 27, 2005 well... heather has a point, not that it bothers me all that much. plus, b/w scanning is a pain, well... cleaning them up can be. having said that, my opinion here is much more with adam, the picture has qualities that dominate well beyond a few scratches. the composition is strong in its simplicity, the grainy b&w combined with the gray wheather suit the subject well imo. best, th Link to comment

Jack McRitchie 150 Posted November 30, 2005 I'm with Joam on this picture. The grittiness of the image is an essential element in creating the mood you wish to project. There is great beauty in the truth of such a stark image. There are times to clean up a picture and times to leave it alone and in my estimation, the decision to put it out there warts and all in this case was absolutely right. Regards, Jack Link to comment
