ralton 0 Posted November 21, 2005 Wonderful shot, good subject matter for the project, good light, good focus. I like it! Cheers Link to comment
tom t 0 Posted November 21, 2005 Me too I like it; very delicate, well executed. A suggestion I do have would be to crop out most of the bottom and left (or get closer to achieve same effect) - I am thinking there is perhaps a bit too much tree and thingy on the bottom and lessening that might balance the shot more? Just a thought of course, well seen and done. Tom Link to comment
mandar1 0 Posted November 21, 2005 PT, aesthetically well executed. However, not very original as there is already one with spider-web in the folder with its focal point. I like the texture due to the lichen on the horizontal wooden beam. Some crop at the top and left combined with a slight rotation at the bottom to make the beam horizontal would be my suggestion. seven 0 Posted November 21, 2005 This is a great interpretation, very different from the earlier upload mentioned. Agree with a crop - not so important from bottom, definitely from left : will help to increase the delicacy! Fabulous green bg. Nice work, PT. Link to comment
jeremy freeland 0 Posted November 22, 2005 I agree with the notion of a crop on the left and the bottom to lose some of the OOF aspects of the image, but I'd like to keep roughly the same aspect ratio. I like the additional atmosphere created by the dark hole to the left - works both on a photographic level by adding contrast to the elements with more light and colour, and also by suggesting where the spider is. Good theme fit. Link to comment
robidooo 0 Posted November 23, 2005 Very good find. I agree about a crop on the left, but I think the bottom should be left as it is. It is needed I think to give an anchor point to the web. Very good theme fit. Link to comment
