erik skaar photography 0 Posted February 2, 2006 Charles- I really like this photo, nice colors and contrast. I am totally jealous of your ability to go out and shoot New England's famous Autumns. Hailing from the Great North "Wet" I rarely have a dry period to go out and shoot fall colors. One thought: If you haven't already, try using a polorizing filter when shooting this sort of scene. It cuts down on the glare and really makes those colors pop. That being said this is still a wonderful image. Hope you're able to squeeze off a few shots in between your duties as a family man. Cheers, Erik Link to comment
keeperofthefire 0 Posted February 2, 2006 I have quite a few different filters that I generally neglect to break out. I also have a somewhat neglected tripod also. I'm pretty sure most all of my shots are handheld. Lately, when I do get out it's going for a ride with my young family, which makes it difficult at times to perfect my art! Thanks for the comments and peace be the journey! Link to comment
