jeremy_c 0 Posted February 20, 2006 Hi, Cherlyn I am impressed by your photos. How did you travel the Silk Road to take these photos - with a group tour or on your own? Cheers. Link to comment
cherlyn 1 Posted February 21, 2006 it is a tour of 13 people consisting only our own friends, no outsiders. A request that we put to the tour company, itinery also catered to our choice. In this way, we have more fun & freedom. Link to comment
jeremy_c 0 Posted February 22, 2006 Thank you for replying. I have been browsing Photo.net for a while now, and find your gallery to be one of the more interesting ones. Btw, I am not a subscribed member of Photo.net, nor have I posted any photos on this website. I find that this website seems to emphasize more on 'artistic' or 'creative' photos, while most of my photos are holiday snapshots of family on vacation at popular tourist destinations. So I signed up on PBase instead, and you are welcome to visit my Homepage there (only less than a week old) at www.pbase.com/jeremy101 if you wish. Cheers! Link to comment
sallycd 0 Posted March 7, 2006 Cherlyn, seeing this reminded me of Steve McCurry's photos. He made books of his tourin Asia & South East Asia, photos he accumulatedfor more than 2 decades. I owned a copy withhis signature. Historians, writers and magazines might lookfor you when someone will feature about Chinaor other countries. Thanks for sharing, sally Link to comment
