Swirling green pond scum

is it leaves floating...??, well, i like how the frame cuts the ones at the edges, and the seemingly random and organic composition...

Great picture! The leaves make it so.

Very inventive. I like it. It is musical. Personally I am not sure about cuttng the leaves through the middle on the edges. It would be a very different image without it but the one on the bottom draws my eye away from the texture of the pond scum. I guess it's a matter of what you want to take a picture of. I tried cloning out the leaves on the edges and the image becomes bland. So I think yours is a more interesting approach. Maybe try not cuting them off.

Good lord, I love this. If only Fresno had scum ponds.
