PeterKrenek 26 Posted November 4, 2005 Very good shot. I like the wedge of light cutting through the distant mountain. All the best. Peter Link to comment

peter_houtmeyers 0 Posted November 5, 2005 Well balanced photo Adam ! I love the contrast between the dark sky and the white foam on top of the waves .I have about the same equipment.....but my photo's are not of this quality by far. Could you share some details on filters or other equipment used? Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted November 5, 2005 What a fantastic photo. I love your composition and the shutter speed you chose. The water has a perfect look to it, you captured it nicely. My only comment that is remotely negative is about the bright sliver of light in the left of the frame. In some ways the light to the left of the frame adds quite a bit...but on the other hand it is slightly distracting to me as my eyes are constantly drawn to it. I'm not sure if the photo would be better without it or not. The lighting on the foreground rocks is absolutely stellar. I gave you a 6/7. Link to comment
eff 0 Posted November 5, 2005 A stunning photograph. The warm light adds color and texture to the picture. I like the shaft of light in the left balancing the picture. Best regards. Link to comment

mackey 0 Posted November 6, 2005 It's amazing how the rocks just right/below center resemble dolphins. The composition is nice, but I must ask, is this a composite of multiple exposures? Very nice regardless. Link to comment
adamburton 0 Posted November 6, 2005 Hi Brian, Thanks for your comments. Its a single shot, using ND grads to balance the exposure. Im getting a bit slack these days in recording which filters I have used, but from memory it was a .9 and a .6 as that band of light on the horizon had to be controlled! Thanks for your comments, Adam. Link to comment
