ben neptun 0 Posted November 5, 2005 Focus and shutter speed is right on. I think I like this background better than the other one because it's all one tone (even though it's not blurred out). But, if you could do this again and get a solid blue background it would be far superior to either of these two. 5/4 Link to comment
clives 0 Posted November 5, 2005 Stephen .. .yes, I assure you it is very real. When I make and post composites (like my moon shots and the other funky goose image with the moon) I always confess. This image received a slight sharpen and was cropped, but there was no other color alterations of any kind. [i took over 300 goose images today...a couple have to be good. :) Actually many are good.] Ben: I appreciate your response to my question about background. Yes, I generally agree with you ... simple backgrounds work better for flying geese. I took some combo backgrounds today that I like: birds in blue sky with some vegetation below.
