nicholasprice 0 Posted November 5, 2005 Hi Pete It is really nothing more than an experiment. It is a "destroyed" Lake District landscape, that I played about with in photoshop. I am using it as a screen saver at the moment, and I quite like it, but I really don't think that it has any merit as a photograph, but I posted it as I am not a very good judge of what people like here. Fond regards, Nick. Link to comment
within 0 Posted November 5, 2005 Nicholas, now I must say this one works very well given the textures and movment within the art peace. Also the natrual colours give magnetism, drewing ones eye across this master peace. Great job well done! Link to comment
apotheker 0 Posted November 5, 2005 Quite a nice experiment. The sense of scale is illusive & it appears that you have given "a destoyed landscape" a new life. I very much like the diversity of textures & colour & the fact that I cannot sense the original image. While the upper portion feels as though it is a slice of stone the lower feels as though I am looking at a slice of a tree trunk, which I am sure is just one of many perceptions. Well done Nick. colin carron 58,916 Posted November 7, 2005 Nick, I thought this was a shot of a geological specimen - maybe one of those fossilised tree thingys. Or are you doing a Rorschach test on us? :-) Link to comment
