All of your images tell stories. This one I think is "Last Tallow in Doheny"

P.S. Is that one of yours on the wall?

For looking and seeing! The photo is actually one of my brother's, and he shot it when we were together in Ireland (Galway), and it's a fantastic shot of a man, on his walk with the dog (you can kind of see), and the man looked at my brother, and he got the shot; the ocean behind, misty early morning, etc. . . great shot. Here, I like that it mirrors my solitudinousness! Also, I thought the halo in the mirror was cool (I light the candle, and the halo lights me!). I tried to crop the doorway, but it didn't work, yet.

Cheers!

ahem, I had to look up tallow(!), and I think it could lend itself to exactly that sentiment; but also that seems a sad connotation to me, and I rather see this as something perpetual, of hope, light, sustenance, care, and not the depletion to emptiness (although certainly, there is truth there, too!). Thoughts? Thanks, again.

"Last tallow in Doheny," is a play on "Last Tango in Paris."

As my vague references so often get me in trouble I will offer this analysis, which I would suggest is in agreement with your comments above.

Cheers!

Thank you for the very rich artistic reference! And, wow, my revealing, burgeoning, quantifiable artistic expression, unknowingly contrary to a great piece of Bacon's, as that of existential hope ~ Truly, my posting page at the moment (me, the baby, the cathedral), to me, is a presentation in itself, and a (cyberspace) prayer at that, which is why it might be some time before I change it.

P.S. - - Actually, this is "The Last Tablecloth from Paris" - - you were so close, and it completely eluded me!

Thank you for the great favor of getting that crop in; that is exact. The only thing I noticed when I posted it is that it distorts the reflection in the mirror somehow, so I have left the other, and hope you leave these also, for them all to be seen. I like the frame effect since it expands on the frame of the photograph herein; but I think it borders and inhibits the aura of the light!!, so I prefer it without the frame. Am getting closer to Photoshop program, so soon I hope to be able to do more adroitly myself.

Thanks much. Hope you like the title.

I don't know what I was seeing before, but I don't see it now, and even I am favoring the framed version! So I posted all 3!

Merci buckets!
