matty.d.vickery 0 Posted November 3, 2005 Hi, it's not a peregrine falcon. This is a european kestrel (falco tinunculus). It's a great effort and good capture. I think the background is distracting. There is definitely a problem with sharpness, whether this was camera shake in the original shot or added during compression is difficult to know. Well done, best regards, Matt Link to comment
jan_jarczyk 0 Posted November 4, 2005 Thx Matt as you can see i'm not an expert , someone told me it was perigrine falcon (ye i should have checked it)of course you are right that is Kestrel and again youre right that was misssfocus - my 300d focus wasnt fast enught for this bird so i try my luck manualy also the lense i used 75-300 f4-5.6 USM is the worst lens i've ever owned (at 300mm si soft even at f8)i see you are from bristol too regards jan Link to comment
