Pnina, I think you have done remarkably well considering the lighting conditions. . . as a matter of fact, I think the lighting works favorably to bring out the spark of her personality. .

Mainly the portrait is good, but there is one destructing thing (IMO).

Model's right eye is in shadow and that is disturbing. I'd suggest you playing twith "Shadow/Highlight" tool in Photoshop to change it.

 

Once again, this is the only my opinion, so do not take it too serious :).

 

This, too, is very nice; she has got an intence face, but I prefer the other.

Her right eye in the shadow is not disturbing to my eyes. A tiny reflection can be seen also. Is this because of my bright monitor? Anyway, beautiful portrait!

Like others said, the light is great! You really succeeded in bringing out her beauty. She is sparkling and at the same time feels real and natural.

 

I also liked your other portrait of her, with the hand in the light, but there she is distant. Here she is close and really makes contact with the viewer.

The lighting is exquisite. The left eye is clear and vibrant, the right eye is shaded and mysterious. The skin tones are ... well I abhor shiny skin on portraits but it WORKS here! Lovely.

Rachel, Orna is a sweet lady, a head nurse in a big ward,I did a sries of her, this one is the one I liked best especially because of the light taht is a bit shiny but still soft.

What an amazing face...

It emanates physical beauty and inner strength. Her senses seem to be a part of an intense music of Love, Motherhood, and Friendship....

I think... I could go steal horses with her (?:)

Oh no!! Here we have a VERY atractive Lady ( round 40?) This is a face we can look hours too and each time she tells another story.. For me .. a winner!

Wonderful portrait - love the lighting!

Pnina...I continue to stop at this portrait of this warm smile over and over again...then yesterday I came across it in someone's Favorite folder...It was fun to see it following me around...The color and the lighting are just perfect to me. The warmth you have captured in her the smile... that is her eyes and her mouth... flows freely just as it does from many of your people images...

 

It seems to me that you no matter were you travel to....you bring that warmth with you...I am sure I am not alone in looking forward to what you share with us next year...I hope for more warmth to you and your this Holiday season....juan
