marco_ruggiero

The man was so focused on his game that he didn't even bother to look up either before or after I took the image.Changed to B & W in P S.

It makes me wonder, not really on the chess itself, but on the chess of Life, and the self motivations behind each one of us. A sort of meaning of life?!?!!... Or maybe I'm dreaming :-) Anyway... It touched me!

Congrats.

I am glad that you like it, I thought that it was also a very good image, especially in B & W.

Thanks again for your comments as always.

Great street shot! I prefer the original composition to the suggested crop. It seems to me though that he was almost sleeping over the chess board...=) Regards, Alex

A nice sentimental shot Marco, the towel is a little distracting, I'd be tempted to try darken it or clone it out. Love the shot though.

Has intentado corregirlo con PS???.

The man was playing chess in Central Park, and his concentration and

his pose I thoughtwere very interesting. The only change was to B & W

from a color Ektachrome slide.

Your comments and critiques are greatly appreciated.

Thanks in Advance.

I am glad that you like it,from you is such a great compliment. It was a verry sunny, summer day, and the color photo is more representative of it, but the B & W, I though was a better image.

Thanks again.

This is a great shot, Marco! I love the posture and the "heat" of the situation. I also like your cropping as its tightness intensifies the drama. My only negative is the lack of detail in the whites which cause some distraction. Perhaps you can fix that by adjusting the levels. I wouldn't touch anything else. Keep up the great portraiture work!

Thanks again for your interest and I will try to correct the details on the whites. Again, it is always a pleasure to hear from you and for your very helpful suggestions.

Best regards.
