This is lovely. The slightly soft focus is perfectly suitable to the subject.

 

How did you take this picture with black and white??

Look at the Technical details section, I clarify what film was really used, reg Kodak gold 100.

I disagree with the person who likes the soft focus, and don't think it contributes. I would also prefer that most of the post be cropped out, as I don't feel it adds to the composition.

Ya know jay, you've got a good point. It's been awhile since I've looked at this photo. I think I'd do well to rethink a number of things, especially cropping. I'll see if I can get around to seeing what I can do. Thanks for your comments.
