"How to do an elegant step"!

You no need more background.

Perhaps one of my favorite candid people shots, and one of my

earliest B&W compositions, this photo of a mother and her child was

taken at the Buddhist temples in Kamikura, Japan. It has been a long

time since I took the photo (1987), so my recollection of the film

exposure and printing decisions are non-existent. I don't know how

the background got so washed out, but wonder if the photo still

works, that the white-wash is not too distracting to appreciate the

foreground. Your ratings and commentary are appreciated. Thanks.
