Landrum Kelly 64 Posted October 31, 2005 I would like to know more about how you got this. My own experience with hawks in the wild is that they are very skittish and unapproachable. --Lannie Link to comment
oldowl 0 Posted October 31, 2005 I don't see any jesses. Is this a wild bird or a very good camouflage job? Link to comment
sasha uporin 0 Posted November 1, 2005 I was able to come quite close to this hawk - about 12-15 ft. The photo you see here is a crop from actual photo taken at 105mm zoom. I made a total of 14 pictures coming closer and closer before hawk flew away. This is real wild bird. Location is Morton Arboretum in Lisle, IL. ( and BTW - I would never put fake on photo.net - my favorite photo sharing resource). Thank you for visiting my gallery. Link to comment
