plants Ghosts in the Wood - 2005

Macro shot from an old dead branch. I didn't notice anything, but my wife showed me those strange figures in it and i thought that maybe it was a photo worth.

 

I classified it as "manipulated" but honestly the touching-up was very light : i added sharpness, some saturation on red, and created an eye on one figure because a one-eyed wooden ghost just didn't seem right.

 

as usual, comment and rate, etc ... pfff... you'll do what you want anyway.

This is one of those abstracts where you can't guess what it is. Great photo and very unique.

Whoa crazy! I'm sure you could do a lot more manipulation to really bring out each face, but I prefer this where it is much more natural and just 'there', keeping an eye on you from their branch!

What kind of tree is it? Or did insects do this? Very cool!
