Garter Snake 1

One in a series of garter snake shots. Any suggestions on croping? I

always appreciate comments in addition to ratings.

Try to concentrate on your focus, and depth of field. In My Humble Opiion...This shot would have been better if it was sharper. I tend to have the same problem. Some shots that I think are pretty good, when it comes right down to it.. Are NOT as sharp is they need to be. It is a fundamental, like being able to dribble a basketball with your right hand. There is Almost never a picture that is Too Sharp. Depth of Field is a Bitch to learn.

Perhaps a little sharpening would help things along in that regard. Focus is always tough at the minimum focal distance of a zoom lens! Thanks for your comments!
