This is great Cherlyn, the earthy nature of the mountain stands out beautifully against that sky. Would have to agree with some others on cutting out the top layer of cloud. Then the band in the lower cloud, against the bands in the rock face becomes even more stricking. Nice1, Cheers Nova :)

Very nice photo, Cherlyn. Like Glenn, I thought at first this was from an area around home - off to the southwest of here, specifically. The texture and erosion is well done, too. The color of the earth is interesting and your shot is well composed.
