kkwan 0 Posted December 1, 2001 What a great photo! The S-curve is great since it takes the viewer's eyes around the space of the shot and draws them the way to the back of the photo. The depth is amazing! The reflection of the houses is of course the best thing about this shot, since it adds duality between man-made structure and nature. The amount of blur is perfect here; long enough to give the rushing water a silky texture while not too long to blur the reflection. I would've walked right by this without even thinking of taking a shot. Very well seen and well executed. Link to comment

yang 0 Posted December 21, 2001 I'm glad to see you present this excellent shot on this forum. As I said at dpreview (a month ago?) I like the contradiction between still and running, peaceful and turbulent, clear reflections of buildings and blurred water, simplely wonderful, not to mention the color harnomy and excellent composition. cedarbough 0 Posted March 19, 2002 I like the reflected buildings that we can't see at all other than in the reflection. Link to comment
