You should have waited till the UFO (just above/off her head) flew off. Maybe it was hovering around watching you work. Then one stop down would have avoided the overexposed right side of her face and hair, and that would also have added more dark shadows, to give depth to the photo. Lovely teeth, if we can spare a glance up.

I knew you must be a pilot or an ex-pilot with the remarks regarding UFO!

Thank you for the note! :)

I like to challenge myself at times so I have done many similar shots during past few years by putting an spot light or stronger source of lighting as the back ground. It entertains me how the light plays with hair or textures of any other subject that I am photographing differently that usual.

Your suggestion regarding the one stop change of exposure wouldn't had worked because it simply would've changed the eyes to be much darker than what they are right now. I think it's worth having a little over exposure on skin for the price of seeing eyes .

Fly safe!

Cheers

As matter of fact I agree the light in the background is a little bit distracting. On the other hand there is something I like about this picture and something I don't like. Is the model face or her skin rendition or perhaps the dark eye section. I guess somehow I love this picture. Cheers

Very Marilyn, It would have been better if the light was behind her head. The exposure is correct though and also I like what the light does to the hair.

Hello Misha, your work with Miss A has been of the highest quality. You bring out both sensuality and fun at the same time.

This is a great portrait.

Best wishes. Pete
