john falkenstine 1 Posted October 23, 2005 Very nice composure and dig the Western Colors and lighting. But; I would have worked the foreground a bit more, NOT to manipulate the image but to find some better tonality to ensure that the horse and the fence would not appear the same in terms of color. Some careful use of the gamma curve tools in this area could make the image even better. Link to comment
arnabbanerjee 0 Posted October 23, 2005 Bravo...well done. The exposure is just right - composition is well thought out - with a static background, a live animal adds dynamic to the foreground. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted October 24, 2005 I love it! I think it's great, right down to the clouds. I like the contrast between the horse and fence, and the rock and sky. Link to comment

I may be wrong because I'm seeing this at a fairly small size, but have you perhaps blurred something between the legs of the horse ? If you did, I think I shouldn't have. Or perhaps it's the jpeg compression that makes it look that way... Besides that, I kind of felt the foreground needed to be just slightly brighter and warmer - without killing the mood. Here's what I got... Link to comment
