Liathach viewpoint

ian cameron

I don't do a lot of high hill walking with my Pentax 67II it is a tad on the heavy side especially with a tripod. I rarely regret the photographic opportunities that arise though. Liathach from the Torridon road looks almost unclimbable. From this viewpoint it appears considerably more accessible (horizon right). It was late Autumn just before a storm hit that I took this shot from the summit of Tom Na Gruigach. Pentax 67II, 55-100 zoom, , F22 at 1 sec, velvia. Please feel free to visit my website Timecatcher is once again active. Transient Light and Timecatcher.

A Pentax 67 makes for an arduous 1 day trek to the summit of Tom na

Gruigach, Torridon, Scotland, especially when the days draw in so

quickly. I rarely regret the effort put in though.

What a wonderful view you were rewarded with! Thank you for climbing that mountain. I think this also would have worked well cropped about half way to display the incredible valley and that one ray of light in the distance you captured just in time.
